The Frisco Sabres are a youth tackle football team based in Frisco, TX.
The team consists of players from the class of 2029 (current: 4th grade).
The Sabres play in the National FLEX Football League in the spring and Texoma Youth Football League (TYFL) in the fall.
The head coach is Matt Janes.

UPCOMING DATES
The Sabres play in the Texoma Youth Football League. TYFL is also a regional league and includes the following towns: Anna, Melissa, Celina, Van Alstyne, Denison, Sherman, Princeton, Bonham, Lake Dallas, Little Elm, Howe, Paris, Prosper, McKinney, The Colony and Denton. We are in the south division and will play teams along the 380 corridor.
Practices for the Sabres are held in Frisco.
Sabres home games are currently played in McKinney, but are pursuing a field in Frisco for 2021.

Games: March 28, April 11, April 18, April 25, May 2, May 16, May 23

League registration fee: $110
Team uniform fee (for new players): $50
SPRING 2021
League: Texoma Youth Football League
Format: 11-on-11 tackle
Games: Saturdays
Where: Regionally played (Prosper, Celina, McKinney, etc)
League registration fee: $110
Uniform / Team fee: $140 (estimated)
Fees due to team: 6/6/21
Note: Player equipment (helmet, shoulder pads, etc) are a personal expense. Sabres coaches will provide recommended products and locations to purchase.

Matt has over 20 years of coaching experience, including 13 years at the high/middle school level & 8 years at the youth level.
Matt has ample experience coaching both spread & run-based offenses, as well as multiple defensive sets.
As a player, Matt excelled at inside wide receiver, offensive line/deep-snapper, & inside linebacker at Fort Worth Southwest High School.
